Some letters are symmetrical, making them fun to play around with when designing logos.
Something I enjoy playing around with when I’m designing logos are letters that happen to be symmetrical in nature. Depending on the font, some letters can be flipped and spun about without losing the ability to easily read them.
This is a logo for twitch.tv I put together that highlights some symmetrical letters. Even though some letters aren’t symmetrical, sometimes they can form other letters when you flip them (like the “W” forms an “M” when you mirror it).
Just a neat little trick you can try next time you’re designing with text in mind.
